Forced to drink, then gang raped

KENINGAU: A Form Four student in Nabawan alleged to have been gang raped by five teenagers while unconscious after being forced to drink ‘montoku’.

Disclosing this yesterday, district police chief, DSP Zahari Mohamad, said that the 16-year-old victim was waiting for her brother to fetch her from school on Oct 13 when the five approached her and forced her to go with them in a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

He said one of the five is a friend of the victim. All the suspects, who are still at large, are in their late teens.
She was taken to a field at Nabawan town where the suspects allegedly forced her to drink ‘montoku’, a rice based alcohol. She claimed to have passed out at one point and after regaining consciousness, she was again forced to down some more of the drink.“When she lost consciousness again they took her to the Tampusison waterfall the following day for a swim,” Zahari said, adding that while there they continued to force her to drink causing her to pass out.

She woke up to find herself half-naked and claimed to have been raped by the suspects. She also claimed that they took photos of the act.She only lodged a police report yesterday.Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects all of who are from Pagalungan sub-district.

Curse for the five teenagers, hopefully they will be caught and sent to jail.
